Our Story

Meet Jose Exavier - a devoted father, husband, farmer, and neighbor. Rooted in his Caribbean heritage, Jose employs traditional farming practices that are both sustainable and cost-effective. His passion for agriculture blossomed in childhood, and upon moving to Hawaii seven years ago, he discovered a beautiful connection between his own island roots and the Hawaiian Islands. As his family grew, so did his commitment to creating a true homestead, ensuring that the food he provides his daughter is fresh, healthy, and a step towards self-sufficiency for his community.

​Here, we believe that everyone can grow their own food, no matter the size of their space. Our founder started by sharing his harvest with friends and neighbors, then sharing plants, and finally sharing his knowledge to empower others to cultivate their own gardens. He would like to share his skills with anyone who shares his vision for the future of Hawaii.
